Osteopathy
for Balance

Health isn't just the absence of pain; it's a balance between body, mind, and lifestyle.

Hi,

My name is Cristian Niculae. I am a registered Osteopath (D.O.OsteoRe) and a member of the Romanian College of Osteopaths, and I have been practicing osteopathy with passion and dedication since 2019.

My experience in choreography and classical dance has given me a unique sensitivity, which is essential in the practice of manual therapies. I have developed a deep understanding of biomechanics and the rhythm that supports the natural and harmonious movement of the human body—qualities that I integrate into every osteopathic treatment session.

I work with a diverse range of patients, including elite athletes, active adults, dedicated mothers, energetic babies, and individuals seeking to regain balance and vitality.

I invite you to explore the benefits of osteopathy and take a step toward long-term health and well-being. Osteopathy is not just a therapy, but a path to harmony and balance.

With gratitude, courage, and dedication,
Cristian Niculae

Osteopath (D.O.OsteoRe), Member of the Romanian College of Osteopaths

What is osteopathy?

Osteopathy is an advanced, holistic therapeutic approach developed in the 19th century by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still. This alternative medical discipline is based on the principle that the body is a unified whole, and that its structure and function are interdependent.

Through gentle, non-invasive manual techniques such as fascial mobilization, localized massage, soft tissue manipulation, stretching, and pelvic realignment, osteopaths help restore neuromusculoskeletal balance. The ultimate goal is to optimize the body’s functioning and address the root causes of pain, providing lasting solutions.

Osteopathy combines personalized sessions with recommendations regarding lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, and exercise. This therapy is suitable for athletes, professionals with sedentary or repetitive jobs, mothers, children, and seniors seeking effective solutions for long-term well-being.

Each session is unique, fully tailored to individual needs. The osteopath carefully analyzes “why” the problems arose and determines “what” can be done to prevent their recurrence, thereby creating a personalized treatment and prevention plan.

First session - what should I expect?

During your first consultation, the osteopath will conduct a detailed assessment, starting with a discussion of your medical history and lifestyle. The examination includes simple movements to identify dysfunctions, tension points, or overworked tissues. Based on these observations, the osteopath will apply personalized manual techniques. If you have previous medical test results, these can help create a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on the severity and type of condition. For acute problems, one or two sessions are often sufficient. Chronic conditions may require long-term treatment and maintenance sessions at regular intervals, usually every 2 to 6 months. Osteopathy is patient-centered, and each treatment plan is designed to achieve lasting results and ongoing well-being.

Complementary therapy

Dry Needling

Dry Needling is an advanced technique used by qualified acupuncturists, physical therapists, and osteopaths to treat musculoskeletal pain and restricted movement. It involves the use of extremely fine needles, strategically inserted to relax myofascial trigger points and reduce muscle tension.

Combined with osteopathy, the Dry Needling technique becomes a powerful tool for rapid and effective recovery. This combination offers optimal solutions for acute pain and significantly shortens recovery time. Through the holistic approach of osteopathy and the precision of Dry Needling, your body can return to balance and functionality more quickly.

This technique is applied only when absolutely necessary, following a thorough evaluation by the osteopath. The patient will be informed in detail about the procedure, its benefits, and possible reactions, ensuring that the decision is made with full knowledge of the facts.
